In late 2009 I had an infant, a toddler who was strongly showing signs of autism, and I was snatching sleep in 2 hour increments between their needs, attempting to stay on a really tight budget, researching natural health, cooking whole food meals, and trying to keep the house clean all at once.

Today is day 13 for my sons and me (2 1/2 and 7yo) and I think we are turning the corner for the better with my 7 year old, who is on the autism spectrum. Thanks so much for writing this book! I’ve been wanting to put my daughter on the GAPS diet for a while now but have been putting off starting for obvious reasons. I think we will *all* benefit (i know i have candida overgrowth), but my 2 year old daughter has medically intractable epilepsy due to Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (genetic disease that causes benign tumors…her brain is full of them) We have had more improvement with craniosacral therapy and chiropractic than with any prescription drug known to man, and we’re hoping to knock things out the rest of the way and get her off some or all of these drugs by doing GAPS.
