  1. Wow, this looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it.

  2. Does it really need to be stored in the frig? Does it get soft if not?

  3. It’s really that easy? I’m making this tomorrow!!! Thank you.

  4. I cant believe I can make brittle this easily. Must make this and soon.

  5. I’ve been thinking about making this. Looks like the perfect simple recipe and so delicious!

  6. I’ve totally been wishing for a ‘real’ recipe for this. Thank you!

  7. Cara, do you think I could veganize this recipe using Earth Balance and maple syrup or agave? I adore brittle! xxoo

    • Darris, I think you might be able to do it with maple syrup, it should become candy too. And I cannot recommend Earth Balance, but would recommend coconut oil :)

  8. Hello Everyone, I’m new on here and glad to be a part of the discussion

  9. I wish someone will cook me this. . I want to eat this very yummy. Thank you for sharing your recipe. It’s inspire me to learn how to cook.

  10. I really want to make this and have everything but… the thermometer! Maybe when I get home from vacation.

    • You can do it without a thermometer- google or look in Joy of Cooking to see how to test if a candy is at the ‘hard crack’ stage by dropping a bit in ice water :)

  11. What do you mean by “crispy” Macadamia nuts? Are you supposed to bake them in the oven first? Thanks for the help! I’m a newbie!

  12. You soak and dehydrate macademia’s? Soak for how long? What about Brazil nuts? These are two we have been eating raw and not making “crispy”.
